Painting the Springs
Sandblasting took a good while on the springs leafs. I painted them with the same process and materials as the frame. 9/24/2011 and 9/25/2011.
Spring Time
Pulling apart the leaf spring packs to rebuild them. Next is sandblasting them down to bare metal to get ready for paint. 9/10/2011.
Axle Disassembly
Tearing down the front and rear axles, springs, and front steering. 9/5/2011 and 9/10/2011.
49 Ford
We saw this 49 Ford in Boerne on our way to supper. The 48 - 52 year models were very similar and many of the parts are the same. 9/3/2011
